What is AgentTwin?
AgentTwin is a developer tool for testing prepared Node.js application and AI-agent workflows. It runs a workflow against declared synthetic service data and supported failures, then records the state and assertions observed by that run.
AgentTwin agent testing
Start with a repository, review the discovered dependencies and prepare one workflow. The test declares its starting records, service operations and expected outcomes. AgentTwin can inject supported conditions such as a timeout after a write, so the final state can reveal a duplicate side effect that an HTTP success response or unit test would miss.
The published Node.js CLI requires Node.js 22.12 or newer. Local execution can access the host filesystem and network; cloud execution is optional and requires separate configuration. Discovery finds candidates, but it does not automatically produce a runnable test or prove production equivalence.
Why Google shows other projects called AgentTwin
Is AgentTwin affiliated with other projects that use the same name? No. AgentTwin at agenttwin.si is separate from the unrelated industrial-process and agent-evaluation research projects named AgentTwin. They have different authors and infrastructure, and this product does not reuse their code, accounts or results.
AgentTwin is also the name of unrelated research work. alqithami/AgentTwin is a multi-agent digital twin for the Tennessee Eastman Process, an industrial process-control benchmark. It is documented in a Journal of Process Control paper.
Another academic result uses AgentTwin in the title of a separate synthesis paper. A different open-source project also uses the name for agent evaluation and release evidence.
The projects do share an interest in trustworthy agent behavior. The distinction is scope: this AgentTwin tests prepared software workflows that call external services; the industrial project studies scheduling and control for a simulated chemical process.
